A Crazy Man Healed And Seven New Families Accept Jesus

Matthew 15:30-31 "And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

There was a faithful believer that lived in the countryside.  At that time I was a missionary in another village and when he heard that I was there, he came to me by bus.  He told me that his father had been crazy for 38 years (mental problems) and asked, "If all of my family believes in Jesus, could my father be healed?"  I told him, "You just believe in Jesus.  Dont ask anything, God knows what to do.  He shows mercy and kindness to everyone on the earth."  After he listened to me, all of his family believed in Jesus very faithfully, and his father was healed completely.  When his neighborhood saw this, another seven families all believed in Jesus together.  They all said, "Jesus truly is the miracle."

Poor Believer Hears From The Holy Spirit

There was a very poor believer who wanted to establish a church but couldn't because he didn't have the money.  One evening the Holy Spirit indicated that he would get the funds and the next day someone sent money to him.

One Man Believes After Receiving A Dream

There was a man who, although his father was a preacher, didn't believe in Jesus Christ.  The minister promised his son that if he would believe, then he would give him a tape recorder but this didn't get him to believe.  However, during his second grade of middle school something else did.  One night he dreamed there was a narrow way that stretched beyond the horizon.  As he followed it, the way became wider and wider.  In the middle of the way there was a stream, so he took off his shoes and crossed the stream.  He came to a big grapevine with ripe grapes that were out of his reach.  He was hungry and wanted to eat them but he just couldn't get to them.  Just then, he heard a voice say, "Young man, what do you want to do?"  He replied, "I'm very hungry and I want to eat the grapes but I can't reach the ripe ones."  Then he saw an old man with a cane and the old man helped pick some grapes for him.  When he ate them, the old man disappeared.  Then he woke up and from then on believed in Jesus Christ.  He figures that the man must have been Jesus Christ.  Then he joined the church choir and found it very easy to learn the songs.  Now, sometimes he teaches other people how to sing praise songs.

(This story was given to my Chinese friends over the phone by a fellow Chinese Christian during my time spent in China.  I got the phone number of these Christians while I was in the field.)
