Pregnant Woman Healed Of Appendicitis

My name is X and I'm an ordinary fellow Christian, but I believe in Jesus very faithfully.  I have a younger sister who came down with chronic appendicitis before she was married.  After she was married, she became pregnant.  At that time, her disease gave her much pain and it seemed like she must be operated on immediately.  However, the doctor told her that she must first induce an abortion and then she could have the operation.  To give a pregnant woman this operation was very difficult and the patient must be anestheticized which could have influenced the baby.  If she went along with the operation, maybe the baby would never exist.  Then, all our family and relatives could do was pray, "May God bless her."  Later God heard our prayers and took away her disease.

Cancer Healing

A Chinese woman came down with cancer in her abdominal cavity when she was about forty years old.  During 1988-1989 her belly expanded very badly (As they told me this story, they made hand motions and signaled how round her stomach was).  In the hospital, even the best doctor concluded that there was no way to cure the cancer.  The doctor also suggested to her children that they should treat her well and prepare for her funeral because the cancer was in a late stage of development.  After she heard the news, she found a priest within the Christian community.  He had been a doctor before retiring to work for the community.  The priest prayed for her and gave her some Chinese traditional medicine along with some other non-Chinese medicines (20% glucose solution bottle and something similar to, if not, penicillin).  He administered the penicillin twice.  After she took the medicine, her cancer went away!

Dead Three Year Old Son Brought Back To Life

A Chinese man had a three year old son who had died after being operated on at the largest hospital in the area.  His body had been placed into a mortuary (Once a body goes into the room, it's over).  However, they didn't want to believe the news, and so took their son's body to the Christian community's hospital.  The Priest prayed for the boy, massaged him and gave him acupuncture.  Later the boy was revived.  Glory to the name of Jesus Christ!

(These three stories were given to me by fellow Christians during my time spent in China.  I personally talked with the woman who had been healed of cancer.)

Man Rescued From A Mud-Rock Flow

A man who is a believer was driving his car to Mengzi County, Yunnan.  On his way to Mengzi, he came across a terrible mud-rock flow.  Behind him, the mountain had already collapsed and so he tried his best to get out of the situation.  However, the car got stuck in the mud and the engine quit working from all the thick mud.  When he opened the car door, the mud flowed right into the vehicle.  Outside, he was up to his waist in mud.  He got stuck and struggled to get out, but couldn't.  It kept getting worse, for after a while the mud reached his neck and he couldn't move.  So, he just sat there stuck in the mud and began to pray, "God if you want me to go, please take care of my wife and sons and I'll go with you with no regret."  At that moment, he saw a local man who also saw him in return.  The men left, but after a while he returned with a branch and extended it for him to reach.  Not only did the man fail to draw him out of the mud, but he himself also fell in.  Fortunately, they both got themselves out of the mud with the help of the branch.  The believer's clothes were stuck in the mud and he was left naked.  Since the pass was very dangerous and seemed as if it might collapse, they kept moving on until he got stuck in the mud a second time.  At the same time, however, a tree fell down right in front of him and so he reached out and grabbed it.  It was a thorn tree and both his hands became bloody.  A few road workers finally came along and helped them to get out of the dangerous situation.  They were safe at last!  His feet and chest were hurt, not to mention that his hands were covered in thorns.  The Christian offered the man who had helped save his life, his watch, but the man refused to accept.  He thinks that Jesus sent this man to save him.

This happened just this past summer and as he told the story to my Chinese friends, he showed them the wounds on his hands and feet.  Before the incident, he was very busy with managing his company and didn't spend enough time worshipping God.  Now because of this, he spends time to worship Him again.  The man is very talented at the drums and with singing.  Every Sunday afternoon he hits the bongos with a group of Christians who play some other instruments (piano, etc.) to praise the Lord.
